RU Global Highlander Clan

Many study abroad students come back from their overseas adventures and look for opportunities to keep that special study abroad spirit alive.  Quite a few students also want to share their stories with others and inspire them to take the leap and study abroad themselves.  The RU Global Highlander Clan - taking its name from the RU Highlander mascot and the New River Valley's Scottish heritage (hence the use of the term "clan") - helps bring the international achievements of our study abroad returnees to light and prepare the next generation of RU Highlanders for their school work and travel in other countries.

The first formal induction ceremony for the RU Global Highlander Clan will take place on Tuesday, September 9, 2008, at 7pm in 107 Cook Hall.
