RU-Middlesex University Semester Exchange Program
Middlesex University is a multi-campus university in London, England, with over 25,000 taking a wide variety of courses toward undergraduate and graduate degrees. Middlesex may sound like a big university, but its campuses are about the size of RU, so RU students feel at home there.
The RU-Middlesex Exchange has two options:
Fall Semester: Courses are available in creative
writing, dance, English literature, management, marketing, political
science,
Academic Year: Students interested in studying for an academic year at Middlesex have the entire curriculum at their disposal
(Note: there are limited options available for students interested in a study abroad semester in Spring 2010. No business courses are available, though.)
RU students pay RU tuition for the Fall semester (or Academic Year), and they pay Middlesex University for housing in one of the university residence halls (Estimated expenses: $2,300-$2,700 for a single room for the semester). Most students use the kitchens in the University residence halls to make their meals, but there are also limited dining options on each campus, should students want to eat out. Students housed on the Enfield campus will find a wider array of eating establishments as well as access to food markets.
Students should have a minimum 2.75 GPA for this program. Application materials should be submitted to the RU International Education Center by February 1, 2009 for Fall 2009/AY 2009-2010 and October 1, 2009 for Spring 2010.
