Students in the
RU Honors Academy
are invited to participate in the Honors Semester Abroad
program in the Spring 2010 semester at the University of Stirling
in Scotland!
Stirling is
a small city of 41,000 inhabitants that is just a short train
ride from the major Scottish cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh,
and the University of Stirling
is very much like RU in size - 9,000 students (7,000
undergraduates).
The Honors Academy has selected a wide
variety of general education coursework for students to
complete, but Stirling's entire curriculum will be available to
students who would like to take courses in their major field as
well.
There will be a lot of things to do in the
Honors Semester Abroad in addition to academic coursework,
including an excursion to London and service projects.
Plus, RU students will have access to Stirling's vast array of
student organizations.
New Financial Aid Information!
All Presidential Scholarships will be honored in
2009-2010. If you receive an Academic Excellence award, you may
use the entire award in the Fall 2009 semester before you leave
the RU campus. If you receive a Dean's Scholarship, you
will not lose that scholarship in Spring 2010. All
federal, state, and private sources of financial aid should
follow you on your Honors Semester Abroad program.
